Kevin McCarthy is an American politician who is currently serving as the Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party and has represented California’s 23rd congressional district in the House of Representatives since 2007. Prior to his current role, McCarthy served as the House Majority Leader from 2014 to 2019.
